As Belltown's bar scene expands further north, Linda Derschang's Viceroy has struck gold with Second Avenue trawlers who favor a touch of glamour with their cocktails. Like her Capitol Hill hot spot Linda's, the intimate lounge is high-concept (Derschang studied vintage and mod design books for inspiration) and high-style (a stuffed boar's head looms over sumptuous banquettes), even if its most popular DJ night is called "Low Life." DJ Curtis' every-Tuesday tribute to "all things wildly inappropriate" gets bodies moving to new wave, queer disco, and whatever else, even if there's hardly space to dance.
