In its article on the alleged West Seattle prostitution ring, the P-I names among the suspects one “Deshawn Cashmoney Clark”. But an online search of King County court records shows that Clark’s middle name is actually spelled “Cash Money”, like the record label (of Lil Wayne and Birdman fame), which the 18-year-old could conceivably have been named after, as it predates him by two years. It’s also worth noting that court records going back to 2005 list Clark as “Cash Money”, suggesting that the middle handle was given him by his parents, not something he picked up upon reaching the age of majority.
