Bob Davis’ strippers didn’t get much jiggling done at Jiggles before the U District club juggled back to Giggles.The P-I

reports that Davis’ club at 5220 Roosevelt Way N.E. has replaced the strip-club sign of Jiggles with the old comedy-club sign Giggles as of Monday.Davis had tried to run the club as a strip joint, though zoning laws require strip clubs to be 800 feet from schools and it was located directly across the street from a school.And when the city made Davis shut down the titty bar, he took out an ad in a local paper claiming that the city was against job-creators for going after him. He also took the city to court, arguing that he did indeed have the right to run a strip club.Obviously that suit didn’t work out too well. Don’t show up at the business looking to laugh just yet, though. Judging by the non-existent website and the phone line that rings to a full voice-mail box, there isn’t any giggling or jiggling happening at Giggles anytime soon.Follow The Daily Weekly on Facebook and Twitter.
