Yesterday, representatives from one of our favorite local labels, Light in the Attic, embarked on a ten-day road trip all the way down the West Coast and back up again, spreading the wax far and wide like people used to before the Internet ruined everything revolutionized commerce. And personally, I salute this homage to the old-fashioned way of doing business; you know, face-to-face. The label will be represented by local comedy band Black Daisy (Troy Nelson and Cody Hurd are pictured on the left; bassist Sandy Wilson is not) and band friend Tyson Pickerel. Whether they’ll just be spreading good will or actually sell some albums, I’m not sure, but you can find out by following their journey on Twitter and/or on the Light in the Attic webpage.
