Obviously, this here is a band whose members would like to retain their anonymity. I wish them luck. Seattle band AFCGT is basically A Frames plus Climax Golden Twins, and that’s about as much information as they want anyone to have about them. But it’s okay, because trying to decipher their music will keep you busy. Sub Pop’s putting out AFCGT’s first, self-titled full-length on January 26, 2010, and this, “Two-Legged Dog,” is the first track they’ve shared from it. The song is a delightfully psychedelic clusterfuck, and you can stream or download “Two-Legged Dog” from the band’s artist page on Sub Pop. One thing’s for sure: this ain’t your dad’s stoner rock. In related news, AFCGT’s playing a show at Chop Suey tomorrow night with Magik Markers, Sic Alps and Story of Rats; tickets are $8 today and $10 tomorrow.
