Sample the wares before you buy: That’s the premise behind the Tom Douglas Holiday Cookbook Social, where local chefs with cookbooks come together to offer tastes from their pages.This wine-added event, (which, sorry to say, has already sold out) would have been a fun way to meet the faces behind the recipes, for a festive start to your holiday shopping. For the fourth year in a row, Tom Douglas will host 20 other cookbook-bearing local chefs at his Palace Ballroom.
