Photo by Brion Kinne. These are Spider Peeps, a cousin of the Easter-famous, sugar-dusted marshmallow candy, which (at least in its traditional chick form) dates back more than 50 years. According to their site, “The amount of Peeps chicks and bunnies eaten at Easter could more than circle the earth’s circumference.” Frightening. These pink-eyed, eight-limbed, seasonal marshmallow critters are still lingering days after the holiday.
