It’s supposed to get warm again this week–ideal weather to hit the beach at Green Lake. But if you’re headed for that neck of the woods, you might consider packing a lunch. Several Greenwood restaurants scored poorly in recent King County Health Department inspections, according to the PhinneyWood blog. The Kabab House fared particularly ill, racking up 85 “red points” on the department’s scale for violations, including inadequate hand washing facilities and not properly sanitizing surfaces used for raw meat. Restaurants that receive 90 or more red points must close. Gordito’s, Wing Dome, and Greenwood Market also had violations.There may be no such thing as a free lunch, but apparently that doesn’t apply to chocolate. The chocolate company Chocopolis marks its second anniversary this week, and it’s hosting free tastings to celebrate, the Queen Anne View blog reports. Today’s tastings include one specifically for moms from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and one with African chocolate maker Claudio Corallo from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
