Image: laspiga.comAs a preview kick-off for Seattle Art Museum’s next blockbuster show, Roman Art from the Louvre, La Spiga is hosting an Italian buffet dinner, following a presentation by deputy director of art, Chiyo Ishikawa, and Margaret Laird, UW Professor of Ancient Roman art and local curator. The menu includes appetizers (salt roasted pork with bell peppers and arugula) as well as gnocchi al pomodoro (pomodoro is Italian for tomato), asparagus and leek lasagna, and braised sausage on soft polenta.
