Great minds! At the Seattle Times, Providence Cicero reviews Plum, just as I did this week. In the Dining Deals Column, Kyung Song reviews Homegrown Sandwiches in Fremont. (Meanwhile, in the Happy Hour column a few days ago, Tan Vinh let former NYT critic Frank Bruni do the reviewing of BOKA’s bar snacks for him.) P.S. The “great minds” comment only refers to Ms. Cicero. I make no claims to share brainwaves with Bruni, Song, or Vinh.Oh, wait, more great minds! At the Stranger, David Schmader also writes up Plum. Do we share brainwaves? Perhaps: I like Showgirls and Mormons. I do not like Brett Favre quite as much as Mr. Schmader, however.Clearly NOT in a vegan frame of mind, Om Nom Nom Nom gives props to Jones BBQ. Meanwhile, at Tastingmenu/the New P-I, Hillel Cooperman also eschews vegetables in favor of real meat: specifically “The Shultzy” sandwich at Schultzy’s in the U District.
