Graphic by Seattle University student Carole Triem.Students in Seattle University business stats class recently compared produce prices at the Roosevelt Square Whole Foods, the University Village QFC, and the UD farmers’ market. Based on a cross section of 18 products, they found “reasonably conclusive evidence that QFC is more expensive” than the other two, with the farmers’ market prices squeaking in just below Whole Foods’ prices. To market we go, to save us some money.
