The Moore’s slogan of “Historic Theatres, Legendary Performances” might not exactly apply to Strange Noize Tour ’08, but that doesn’t mean Tech N9ne’s bizarre brand of Midwest-flavored hardcore rap won’t translate into an intense performance. Having the backing of his Strange Music label crew won’t dampen things either, and touring in support of his new album “Killer” means fresh tracks and a fresh act. Though his foray into the mainstream was less than successful, the resulting return to the underground saw an even darker, harder T-9. Bottom line: the guy’s crazy. And every time I listen to “Everready” I feel compelled to do something illegal. Imagine that effect on a crowd of hundreds.
