Yesterday may have seemed like a balmy break from the general gloom of our recent weather, but did you know that the temperature didn’t even crack 50 degrees? While it may not bring much sunshine, March usually brings warmer temperatures to Seattle. According to weather.com, Daily highs for the month average 55 degrees. This March, though, has been more like a January–daily highs have averaged only 48.73. Shiver me timbers!Alas, Ron Sims’ twitter feed informs us that the cold weather will continue into the late spring (similar to meteorologist Cliff Mass’ paradoxical predictions of global warming-induced cold springs in the 2nd half of the century). On the bright side, we may see a little less rain.
