reports today that Aberdeen gynecologist and obstetrician John Eiland will get to keep his medical license, but will pay a fine, attend ethics training and be on probation for three years for performing a secret abortion on his former coworker he knocked up.The relationship apparently happened back in 2006 at the Providence Centralia Hospital, but it wasn’t until now that the aftermath has shaken out. Eiland currently works at the Grays Harbor Women’s Clinic.Online, Dr. Eiland seems to get mainly positive reviews from patients who rate his skills and bedside manner. There’s one patient, for example, who writes on RateMDs.com that:”Dr. Eiland is one of the best doctors I have ever been to! He is extremely knowledgeable, has a comforting bedside manner(so nice during pregnancy and delivery!)”And another who says:Dr. Eiland is one of the best doctors I have ever been to. He truely (sic) cares for his patients. He spents (sic) countless hours helping his patientsAnd just think, those patents were thoroughly impressed, despite none of them carrying the doctor’s child. For potential baby mamas, Dr. Eiland goes all out and is apparently willing to risk his entire career to make sure they get a discreet and speedy procedure.
