The state’s two biggest companies (and quite a few others) released a statement yesterday officially coming out against I-1098. Saying the income tax on the wealthy would harm business and make it harder to attract talent, Microsoft and Boeing joined the ranks of one-word heavies like Bezos and Ballmer who’ve decided that they’d rather bring in their engineers from out of state than raise the money to educate them here.
