The new election numbers are out, and greenie-faves Dow Constantine and Mike McGinn are getting a big boost from the late voters. Constantine, who had been down roughly 37% to 22% on Tuesday night, climbed to within about 6.5% of Hutchison–it’s now 33.27% to 26.72%–less of a landslide than tweeted. Meanwhile, in a less meaningful shift, McGinn’s shot ahead of Joe Mallahan, who led the last two days. It’s now McGinn 27.6%, Mallahan 27.1%, and just-conceded Greg Nickels in 3rd at 25.42%. Asked at today’s press conference how he knew he wouldn’t come back, Nickels said, “I’m a pretty good vote counter.” Apparently, he was right.
