The minivan is undoubtedly the wussiest of all criminally operated motor vehicles. But what it lacks in style, it more than makes up for in interior space and ramming power. Just ask the two thieves caught on a surveillance video driving their purple late-model minivan straight through a Vancouver, Wash., bowling alley’s front door, then making off with the ATM inside. The burglary apparently went down early this morning, says KGW–a classic smash-and-grab operation accomplished in a matter of minutes, with the van’s front end used to get in the building and its back end used to knock over the ATM.The burglars are apparently still at large, but police are hoping to find them by focusing their search on nearby soccer practices and Costco stores.
