The guy who called the cops on James R. Amundson after seeing him get naked at a bus stop in Green Lake told police that he “wished that he could get the image out of his head.” Of course, circling twice more to get a better look probably doesn’t help with the whole unshakable-mental-image thing.

reports today, police were called to the bus stop on Jan. 19 after a man said he saw Amundson mostly naked and “dancing around and acting strangely” at the bus stop.On the first pass, the witness says he was shocked to see Amundson’s bare ass pointed out at traffic. But apparently needing more evidence before phoning in the report, the guy circled back around, and this time saw the man had turned around and was now fondling himself.Now, just to be sure his eyes weren’t deceiving him, the witness made one more pass by the bus stop and saw Amundson “lay[ing] on his side and lift[ing] one leg in the air, exposing himself.”According to charging documents:”[He] stated that he wished that he could get the image out of his head and that he was very disturbed by Amundson’s actions,” the Seattle detective told the court. “[He] stated that he . . . never would want his children to see something like that.”But if his children do have to see something like that, obviously seeing it in three different installments would be best.
