That light rail you’ve been waiting for finally has a firm arrival date. Sound Transit just announced that Saturday, July 18th will be opening day for Link, which will be free that entire weekend. Even though it won’t go all the way to the airport until December, you’ll be able to take a shuttle from the Tukwila station to the airport starting July 20th. The agency says to check back for updates on the “grand opening celebration”. Here’s hoping it will involve Steve. Only 89 days to go!
