Seahawks defensive end Raheem Brock didn’t have a single tackle in the team’s big win over division rivals the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. In his defense though, he may have still been tired and hungover after his late night earlier in the weekend. Brock was arrested for DUI at around 3 am on Saturday on the NE 45th Street overpass over Interstate 5.As is often the case when professional athletes and/or rich people are arrested for things like drunk driving, Brock wasn’t booked into jail, but just given a citation and released. Perhaps Washington State Patrol Trooper Julie Startup didn’t know he was only a second-stringer.That may be why news of the incident wasn’t reported until just after the game started on Sunday.Brock wasn’t benched by coach Pete Carroll. Though, with starter Colin Cole out with an ankle injury, his options were somewhat limited.Brock came to the Seahawks from the Tennessee Titans and has put up decent stats otherwise, amassing 13 tackles and three sacks this seasonSunday though, he just wasn’t on it. Starter Chris Clemons, meanwhile, had a monster game with four tackles, two sacks and a fumble recovery.Go sobriety!
