Remember California’s gubernatorial recall election in 2003, when Arianna Huffington, Arnold Schwarzenagger, Larry Flynt, Gary Coleman, and others battled to take the seat of an unpopular incumbent? Perhaps we could see some similar action in our mayoral race.Already, Stranger editor Dan Savage flirted with a run and former NBA star James Donaldson gave it a shot, but now that we’re supposedly down to two (Joe Mallahan and Mike McGinn), state Senator Ed Murray says he’s considering a write-in campaign, at the behest of labor groups who aren’t enamored with either of the finalists. Moreover, Murray says he’s not the only one on their list. If we’re really going to go all-out on this thing, here are a few suggestions:Frank Colacurcio:
