Or at least another step closer to an empty lot. MyBallard reports that this morning, a demolition crew took out a house on the site where the above-pictured building is supposed to go up. Also once on this corner, of course: the once-landmarked, now demolished Ballard Denny’s. There remains one more building to demolish–as well as the question of funding for the project. When last we asked, we never heard back from the developer on whether they have the necessary financial backing, or whether 15th and Market is likely to look like this, minus the sidewalk improvements.
