Omar Norman, the guy who killed Terry Milam (who reportedly nearly killed Seahawk safety Ken Hamlin in Pioneer Square just before the 2006 Super Bowl), got sentenced today to 52.5 years in prison for a first-degree murder conviction on that killing. (He had turned down a plea offer in December.) As Rick Anderson wrote last April, Norman’s is an unusual case: while snitching remains a taboo practice, Norman was brought down by informants within his own gang.
