Now available in a onesy.Now that it’s on the ballot for sure, the endorsements are piling in for R-71, the measure whose passage would enact the domestic partnership law the legislature passed earlier this year. A look at the Approve R-71 page provides a long list of endorsers, to whom were added yesterday a bunch of bigwig Northwest corporations (Microsoft, Boeing, and Vulcan, among others), and were added today the Seattle Chamber of Commerce and the Seattle Police Officers’ Guild. Of course, opponents of the measure (and of expanded rights for gay couples) probably have an endorsement from these influential opinion makers, who have been fine-tuning their message for maximum support.
