Not just any book, mind you – her book.
As you’d imagine, Hillary Clinton has made some hard choices in her life. She’s also written a new memoir, appropriately titled Hard Choices. And as part of the promotional push for the book (or is it a presidential push?) it was announced today that Clinton will appear at a book-signing event at the University Bookstore June 18.
The event is scheduled for 5 p.m., according to the website, but rest assured it’ll take far more than simply wandering in off the street to get a Clinton autograph. As the substantial list of rules – which is posted online in its entirety – spells out: “A limited amount of wristbands for entry will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 9am on the day of the event with a purchase of Hard Choices from our U District store.”
Also, “No other books or memorabilia, please,” meaning your Hillary Rodham rookie card will go unsigned.
