Norman Sigler’s had one of the more unconventional appearance schedules lately. On Friday, he hit the Built to Spill show at the UW. Over the weekend, he made ordinary campaign appearances–Ballard Farmer’s Market to collect signatures, a dinner for the Seattle African-American Comfort Program. But tonight, he’ll be back at it, hosting a discussion with author Robyn O’Brien on sustainable agriculture and healthy eating. Both are important subjects that are beginning to filter into mainstream discourse, but it’s still pretty unusual for a campaign event. This isn’t your father’s mayoral campaign event, apparently. (Though maybe your father never ran for mayor.) Details at Sigler’s campaign page.
