No doubt there are plenty of teachers and school aides out there who have wanted to choke an unruly child or two. Most simply refrain from doing so.Not so for one Hawthorne Elementary School teacher’s aide, say Seattle Public Schools officials and police.Seattle Times:The employee, a full-time instructional assistant, allegedly wrapped his hands around the student’s neck and picked him up by the neck, according to the police report. The student also told police that the employee threatened him with another choking if he reported the incident. The child, a fourth-grade special-education student, told his mom about the incident when he got home, and police were immediately called. The 10-year-old is said to have had scratches and bruises on his neck. The aide allegedly behind the choking is a 19-year veteran of the school. He’s been placed on leave while an investigation is completed, and has yet to be identified.Follow The Daily Weekly on Facebook and Twitter.
