Nirmal Sambhi takes a unique approach to child discipline. Whereas many parents who have resorted to beating their children with objects typically do so themselves, Sambhi allegedly has his 8-year-old son trained so that he doesn’t even have to lift a finger in order to, say, beat him silly with a shoe–his son, when ordered, will do it himself. The AP reports that Sambhi was arrested by Meridian, Idaho, police for forcing his boy to shoe-slap himself as punishment for an undisclosed offense. According to police reports, Nirmal Sambhi forced an 8-year-old child to hit himself repeatedly with shoes as punishment. He also apparently bound the child’s hands and legs together for a period of time, officers say.Sambhi has since been charged with felony injury to a child, which, if convicted, makes him a shoe-in for some jail time.Follow The Daily Weekly on Facebook and Twitter.
