In the time it takes you to read this sentence, Amazon will have sold another three Kindle Fire tablets. And the device isn’t even available yet.CultofAndroid got its hands on some leaked internal sales-tracking shots, which show a redonkulous amount of tablets being sold: Like 50,000 per day. That’s 2,000 per hour; 35 per minute, etc. The sales rate puts Amazon on track to sell 2.5 million Kindle Fires by the time the tablet hits shelves on November 15.For comparison purposes, Apple, the indisputable king of tablets, sold 10 million iPads last quarter.BusinessInsider also notes that the Kindle Fire sales are, in a large part, coming at the expense of regular Kindle and Kindle Touch sales, which have gone stagnant since the Fire launched. Personally, I don’t see what all the fuss is about. It’s only a fully-integrated tablet computer that supports web surfing, streaming movies, TV and music, as well as book downloads, all for $199.Dammit. I think I just ordered one.Follow The Daily Weekly on Facebook and Twitter.
