In January, someone stole a string of gumball machines in Lacey. In April, it’s Jawbreakers in Port Townsend–75 pounds of them! We left a message with the Lacey police to see whether the gumball thieves were ever apprehended. Perhaps there’s a sugar-crazed gang of candy-snatchers on the loose.
