If you’ve visited Metro’s website today, you’ve seen the graphic at left. The agency was forward-thinking or quick-reacting enough to have some customized clip art handy for today’s record temperatures. It makes you think, hey, maybe they’ve got it figured out–maybe there’s some secret to keeping cool that I hadn’t thought of.Well, here’s what they say:1) Ride the bus later, when the weather’s cooler.2) Don’t ride the bus wearing a coat or sweater (even, I’d add, if you’re really proud of it because it’s covered with call-girl ads.)3) Don’t ride the bus.It’s a little anti-climactic, but, then, it’s riding the bus. I won’t ask for my click back. I will, however, add a fourth hot weather tip: Don’t have sex on the bus and hang your used condom on the hand-rail to emit heat-intensified stank. Actually, that one applies in all weather.
