Here’s what won’t get you a driver’s license in the State of Washington: a driver’s license from another state, a passport, two pay stubs, a bank statement, a cell phone bill, and a letter from your insurance company. I had all of these and still couldn’t talk the lady at the DMV into giving me a license. Her reason: the seven documents didn’t prove that I was living in Washington State. Unbelievable. There really ought to be a department of common sense that you could call in situations like these.
