First Microsoft was making a tablet computer. Then it wasn’t. Then it was again. Now it has.And the results–at least from one influential tech blog–are that it’s “fantastic.”Gizmodo:A Microsoft tablet with Windows 8 has been a long time coming, but it’s finally here. Sort of. We got our hands on a developer’s preview yesterday and while flawed, it’s extremely impressive.High points of the device include:Easy and responsive touch-screen interface.”Blazing fast” speed.Killer operating system (the test version was running Windows 8)Extremely customizable interface.Drawbacks:No Flash (though because the device tested was just a preview model, Flash may still make it to the final version).A fan that almost always runs.Still not as a good as the iPad.So there you go. Apparently it’s time people finally took Microsoft seriously when it comes to tablet computers. Follow The Daily Weekly on Facebook and Twitter.
