Earlier this week, Susan Hutchison made a big show of challenging Dow Constantine (seen here with the Mariner Moose) to a series of televised debates, which may not be such a challenge, because Constantine said they were already setting it up. Nonetheless, the first of the three is now on the books: the candidates will debate on KCTS on Thursday, October 15th at 7 PM. (Unfortunately, I don’t think you can set your DVR that far in advance.) It’ll be moderated by a yet-to-be-named panel and, like the better sitcoms of the 80s and 90s, filmed before a live studio audience. Finally, if you don’t want to die of alcohol poisoning while watching it, don’t play a drinking game that involves taking a sip every time you hear “non-partisan” or “bringing all the stakeholders to the table.”
