Clearly Lasik’s Michael Mockovak has lost the right to practice in Washington.Last November, we told you the story of laser eye surgeon Dr. Michael Mockovak. You may recognize the co-owner of Clearly Lasik from billboards or ads on KIRO radio. But to law enforcement, he’s the doc who tried to off his business partner. And to the state of Washington, he’s no longer a doc.Dr. Mockovak stands accused of trying to hire what he thought to be a Russian hit man to kill his business partner, Dr. Joseph King. Mockovak allegedly suggested that King be drowned during a family vacation in Australia. Had that happened, Mockovak said he would have been the beneficiary of a $5 million life insurance policy.Because of the charges against him, the state has now ordered Mockovak to stop practicing medicine.
