Back in the halcyon days of 2008, Seattle had the nation’s 3rd most courteous drivers–according to the venerable AutoVantage list. Oh, how we’ve fallen! The temptations of food, phone, and fresh red lights have precipitated our descent. (Apparently, we eat and chat while driving and aren’t shy about running a red.)Having fallen from grace, we’re now clinging to our courtesy waves and blinker-usage for the 10th spot. And who’s number one? Who do you think? Those annoying teacher’s pets just down I-5. Next time you see a car with some Oregon plates, give ’em the bird. Up next: rail rage?
