As you may already be aware, there’s this stimulus bill that just got passed. Today, the White House Council of Economic Advisers released its estimates for the number of jobs the bill would create in each congressional district. Washington is projected to get 75,000 jobs overall, with the winningest district being the 8th, that of Dave “There’s a new sheriff in Washington” Reichert. It’s supposed to get 9,200 jobs. (Ironically, Reichert voted against this new flow of federal dollars, inviting puns about green river killers.) The least winning district is Norm Dicks’ 6th, which clocks in at 7,700.
