As reported elsewhere, 3rd Ave between Cherry and Columbia is shut down as a result of a bank robbery and bomb threat. According to an FBI spokesperson, the robbery occurred at Washington Federal Savings and the robber left behind a backpack and a note indicating the backpack may contain a bomb. This happened at about 9:15. He’s still on the loose, but the building has been evacuated and the bomb squad called in.Below are some pics from the scene. Thanks to tipper NPC.
