Apparently in the hospital, after he pulled a (possibly drunken) U-turn on I-5 on and crashed head-on into a car occupied by two young women (they were treated and released).Five-term King County assessor Scott Noble is in a heap of trouble for the January 18th accident, but the real question is, how on earth did he manage to keep this under wraps for so long (besides being listed in state patrol records by his first name, Russell)? He must work with some loyal folks. The dude determines what people pay in taxes, so you’d think he has enemies. Maybe he’s obscure enough to be out of the public eye and powerful enough to stay that way?
