According to tech blog Gizmodo, this is a breakdown of supercomputing power throughout the world. Each square represents one supercomputer, which are those big black boxes that fill up an entire room in movies like War Games. The United States has more supercomputing power than every other country in the world combined. And the most powerful of them all, housed at the Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge facility in Tennessee, is made by Cray, headquartered in Seattle. Go home team!
