Yikes. Advance camping passes are officially gone. If you don’t have a camping pass, but have a three-day pass to Sasquatch, folks, make sure you get to the Gorge early– camping opens Friday at noon and there are apparently some passes available for on-site purchase, but not many. Which brings up an interesting question: how can a venue that’s located in the middle of friggin’ nowhere not have enough camping passes to support all the people who come there? Granted, if you’re buying a three-day pass and know you’ll be driving, you should really buy a camping pass, but what if you thought you had a spot in your friend’s car and then it fell through? I guess it’s hard to predict how many cars will be coming and how many people they’ll contain, but really: what the hell are you supposed to do? Sleep in the desert?
