Since P Smoov will be at the Croc for the Go! Machine shows December 4 and 5 (on the 4th with Fresh Espresso and the 5th with Mad Rad), he’s posted a mixtape on Out for Stardom, Face Scrunchers, that features (as the man himself put it): “39 minutes of never before heard P Smoov production with special guest appearances from Seattle’s finest.” For the first ten minutes or so, it’s just beats (but good ones) and Seattle MCs (Macklemore, Sir Thomas Gray, GMK, etc.) giving props. Actual rhyming starts happening at about 29:40. Oh, and it’s one continuous track, so like an actual mixtape, if you want to hear a specific 3-5 minute chunk of this, you’re gonna have to fast foward and rewind a million times until you get to the right place. I actually kind of dig the nod to the cassette.
