These photos are from his set at SXSW last spring, and while there will probably be a different, ah, vibe at this in-store (no free liquor, for one), I’m hoping for the best.Throw Me the Statue, whose new album Creaturesque is about as brassy and blissful as pop albums come, is playing an all ages release party at the Vera Project tonight with Nurses and the Brunettes. It starts at 7:30 p.m. and costs $10.
