KHV members Shannon Perry and D.W. Burnam; bassist Eli Chuckovich is not picturedThe album, Stand Up, contains 17 melodic synth pop songs in 33.5 minutes. It’s pretty super so far. And it just so happens that I found an mp3 from the album posted on culturebully.com, “Elevator,” which is the second track on the record. It’s a pretty, midtempo ditty that clocks in at just under two minutes. The track kinda reminds me of Canadian pop band Stars, who, as you may recall, also wrote a sweet song about elevators. Here’s the original link to the post on culturebully.com, and here’s a link that cuts out the middleman and takes you directly to the download site. If you like it, the band’s playing a show at the Blue Moon Tavern this Saturday with The Beats, Man and Go Slowpoke.
