In case you don’t already know, post-punk, shoegaze, noise-pop legends My Bloody Valentine are playing WaMu theater on Monday, April 27th. It’s the band’s first Seattle appearance in 17 years, and who knows if it will be their last. Their set at Coachella over the weekend has been getting good reviews and Seattle audiences should expect a seriously loud, and seriously entertaining show. It appears that you can still buy tickets for $38.50, but if you’d like to go for free, Reverb has one pair of tickets to giveaway to a lucky winner. Just email me at jcunningham@seattleweekly.com with the words My Bloody Valentine in the subject line. The winner will be notified via email by Sunday afternoon. Good luck folks.
