If you haven’t heard local pop rockers the Tea Cozies yet, here’s an mp3 from their upcoming record, Hot Probs, the release of which they’ll be celebrating Friday, May 1 at the High Dive. I’ve been listening to this album for several weeks now, and although the bouncy pop song “Corner Store Girls” has been getting some airplay on KEXP, “Pretty Pages” is one of the best tracks on the record, a cheery tune that– like most of the album– features bright pop vocals with a harder garage rock edge. The whole record is solid, and I highly recommend checking out the show this weekend.Anyway, you can either listen to “Pretty Pages” streaming:Or download the song directly.
