I ran into Black Elk leader Tom Glose (pictured at left) in Portland this weekend, who was giddy as a schoolgirl about securing four amazing dates opening as the lone support for punk legends the Jesus Lizard in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland and here in Seattle on October 23 at Neumos. Apparently JL guitarist Dwayne Dennison is a big fan and hand-picked the Elk for those dates. Nice!
