And they’re playing two shows in Seattle — both at the Paramount Theatre — on November 12 and 13. Tickets to that show cost a cool $55 apiece, but it’ll be worth it to see the band play its seminal 1989 record Doolittle in its entirety, plus related B-sides. For a little preview, though, Black Francis (Frank Black, for the obtuse) is playing a solo acoustic show at the Triple Door this Sunday. What that’ll entail is anyone’s guess. As for the Doolittle tour, well, those tickets go on sale August 1. Make note.
