1. Wine Enthusiast has released its picks for America’s 100 best restaurants for wine; Canlis and Wild Ginger made the cut for Seattle. Elsewhere in Washington, Walla Walla’s The Marc and Woodinville’s The Herbfarm also made the list.

2. Tickets are on sale now for Sip & Shuck, a benefit for the Queen Anne Farmers Market held at Taylor Shellfish’s new Lower Queen Anne location. The July 20 event runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and pairs 2014’s Queen Anne Farmers Market Rose, produced by Canlis, with raw oysters from Taylor Shellfish. Tickets are available on the market’s website; your fee includes event entry and a bottle of rose.

The early bird ticket special ends July 15.
