Today, the Capitol Hill Seattle blog reports that Dilettante is FINALLY opening in the Brix building, after many months of construction delays. Vivace opened up two weeks ago, and while reports on the new space vary between disgust and qualified approval, the place is packed. Also on the neighborhood blog yesterday, JSeattle reported that the petition campaign to save the 15th Ave. Starbucks has succeeded, at least temporarily. I have four obnoxious words in response: I told you so.
